About Fr. Philip Johnson

Fr. Philip Johnson is a Norfolk, VA based French Translator who has lived an incredible story.  Johnson currently collaborates with fellow academic researchers at Hofstra University, as a Research Assistant in the Foreign Language Studies department.  Johnson is fluent in French and maintains additional proficiencies in Spanish, German and Latin.  During his enrollment at the United States Naval Academy, Johnson completed a Bachelor’s degree in History, with a concentration in French Language.  The French Translator sharpened his linguistic skills during a study abroad program experience in Paris, France.  Johnson is fascinated by both the history and culture of the nation.
